DUCK’s purpose is to help kids develop life skills, in a structured setting, which promote esteem-building personal relationships built on a foundation of faith. This is accomplished through a variety of projects, activities and devotional time, with school and home visits an integral component of the program.
Participants commit to attendance and behavior guidelines.
Activities include homework help and tutoring; supervised computer time; art, dance, drama and music; recreation and sports; science and crafts; field trips.
Additional enrichment programming includes camping and out of state conference experiences. Many of these are through partnerships with YoungLife and WyldLife.
